Here is a list of things I am saving for which will either further my career or improve this blog. STCW-95 Certification (~$1,800) - Basically ensures I can work on just about any vessel. Basic saftey, watchkeeping, and firefighting training.

Foul Weather Gear ($200-$500) - Keeps me dry

Nikon D40 Digital SLR Camera ($889) - Would like to get a really nice camera to take the photography on this site to the next level.

MacBook - Higher portability, Podcasts, Videos, all things that would improve this blog. My current laptop has zero battery time and is a pain to carry around.
